Tuition and Fees

The tuition and fee structure is determined and approved by the governing board of the Youth Symphony of Southern Oregon organization. The current non-refundable tuition follows:

  • Youth Symphony - $425
  • Youth Orchestra - $400

Although full tuition assistance may be available upon submission of a request and approval by the YSSO, musicians who receive full tuition assistance must pay a minimum of $25. Musicians who request partial tuition assistance pay the balance of the tuition.

A tuition discount is offered for siblings.

Each eligible Concerto Competition participant pays a $25 non-refundable fee. This fee and other fees may not be included in the request for partial/full tuition assistance.

Required registration forms and releases (including forms for the optional Chamber Music Series and the optional Concerto Competition) are posted on the website.
